The latest trend to pop up on Lower Broadway isn't just bachelorette parties riding pedal taverns. “Star Bars,” or the multi-million-dollar properties owned by celebrities, are opening up all over downtown Nashville, and some big names are getting in on the action. Here's a rundown of some of Nashville's recently opened or soon-to-come celebrity-owned venues.

AJ’s Good Time Bar

Alan Jackson wanted a bar that was "his kind of place," meaning a spot that's fit for locals and tourists alike. That's why he opened AJ's Good Time Bar in 2016. The 6,000-square-foot property has three levels, each with a unique look and vibe: honky tonk on the lowest level, man cave on the second floor, and a fishing theme on the third floor, complete with a replica of the Hullbilly boat from his "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" video.
