Bloomsbury Farm
April 25, 2015
It was love at first sight for high school sweethearts Megan and Joe. Megan, cheerleading captain, and Joe, a
football player, caught one another's
eye from across the sidelines during a game, and Joe got Megan's number shortly thereafter.
While their relationship has taken them from coast to coast, Megan and Joe knew they wanted to celebrate their wedding in Nashville, where their guests would enjoy tradition, open air, and Southern comfort.
The bride's vision for her wedding was 'formal on a farm.” She explains, 'We wanted to build our wedding around the greenery and natural beauty of the farm, while also creating a classic, formal aesthetic with a black and white color palette and touches of blush.” Floral garland chandeliers, a cigar bar, and a classic black-and-white dance floor brought Megan's vision to life against the picturesque rolling hills of Bloomsbury Farm.
'We decided to forego a first look in honor of tradition, and it was
the best decision we made. I think it made that moment even more special. We still can't wipe the smiles off of our faces!”
