Colleen and Zack got engaged while hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains. “Just as the trees cleared with a beautiful view,” Colleen explains, “Zack knelt down, and, offering me a beautiful ring, he asked me to marry him.”
When planning their wedding, Colleen knew she wanted something romantic and elegant with a soft color scheme of blush and cream. “Then I met Sara Fried, my wedding planner, and she was able to fine tune those ideas and make them a reality,” she adds.
One of the newlyweds’ favorite moments was walking down the aisle after the ceremony to Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.” The couple then kept the party going with their friends and family at The Bridge Building, where they dined and danced against the Nashville skyline.
“The best thing you can have during this adventure is a group of people who love you. My family was my rock, and my friends helped me laugh when I was overwhelmed. When in doubt, have a glass of champagne!”
