Love can be found in the most unlikely places, as evidenced by April and Jake, who met in the Davidson County Circuit Court. Jake asked April to marry him over brunch two years later, and the rest is history. As part of a traditional Jewish wedding, April and Jake were married under a chuppah alongside their parents, siblings, and a wedding party of 18.
Sambuca was adorned with white English roses and hydrangeas, five crystal chandeliers, mercury glass, and warm candlelight for the reception, giving the restaurant a soft and comforting glow. When it was time to say goodbye, musician Sam Levine and the City Lights Band escorted the newlyweds out of the restaurant with a New Orleans-style jazz number as onlookers sent them off with sparklers.
