West End United Methodist Church; Schermerhorn Symphony Center
April 25, 2015
Andrea met Ford at a concert just a week before she moved to start her senior year of college. After pursuing a long distance relationship for three years, Ford planned a romantic seaside proposal in Malibu, complete with a private helicopter ride, sunset picnic, and poem he wrote for his bride-to-be.
Andrea's dream for her wedding day was an elegant, formal, and glamorous affair. The Schermerhorn Symphony Center was the perfect backdrop for the bride and groom's color scheme of white, ivory, and blush with metallic accents and large
floral arrangements. While Andrea had a very specific vision for her wedding, she
let her mother have a hand in picking
out the cakewhich ended up being
over ten feet tall and required two cars
for transportation!
Personal touches like handwritten vows and signature drinks kept the evening intimate, and a surprise confetti drop during the newlyweds' final song made for a magical ending to the night.
'Our most special moment was seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony in the church. Logistically, doing a first look made more sense, but we were adamant about sharing that moment with
our family and guests.”
