Country Music Hall
of Fame and Museum
May 21, 2016
Samantha and Jay's wedding day was unlike any other. The spacious Carlton Terrace at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum was an easy choice for the couple, who had more than 450 invitees on their guest list. That wasn't the only reason, though. 'My grandfather, Billy Sherrill, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010,” Samantha shares. 'It's more than just a venue to my family.”
After Samantha and Jay's first kiss as husband and wife, a gospel choir appeared against the Nashville skyline singing 'This Will Be (An Everlasting Love).” Following the ceremony, chandeliers, floral arrangements, and a color scheme of white, gold, and pale blue gave the reception space a soft, ethereal glow. Guests enjoyed a slow motion photo booth and sipped on signature drinks like the 'Jaybird” with whiskey for the groom and the 'Queen Bee” with vodka for the bride.
