To celebrate the Rio 2016 Olympics, the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville has developed a distinctly Brazilian beverage. The Framboesa Caipirinha created by mixologists at Mason Bar, combines the fresh flavors of sugar, Brazilian cachaça, and raspberry to enjoy while watching the global games. Framboesa Caipirinha

Ingredients
1 ½ oz Cachaca
Splash of Proscecco or other light Sparkling Wine
2 tps Raw Sugar
2 oz Fresh Raspberries
½ Fresh Lime
Method
One night before serving the cocktail, combine the fresh raspberries with water inside sphere ice mold then freeze. The next day muddle lime and raw sugar into an Old Fashioned glass. Build cocktail by adding the muddled lime/sugar mixture with Cachaca and Raspberry ice sphere. Top with Proscecco or light sparkling wine and garnish with fresh raspberry skewer.
