'I have too many dishes,” Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman laughs. 'It's become a problem.”
Or rather, it would be a problem if she hadn't turned her passion into an entrepreneurial endeavor: The 'Girl Crush” singer recently debuted a line of home goods and kitchenware, Oh Gussie!, in collaboration with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. The 50-piece collection, which she calls '"cozy, warm, pretty, and Southern,” includes vintage-inspired china, glassware, linens, and other items to decorate any dining room tabletop. Most sentimental to Schlapman are the Paw Paw pieces, mugs and a casserole dish named for her father who took up pottery a few years back and inspired the clay design.
This isn't the entertainer's first time dabbling in the kitchen, though: She's hosted a cooking show, Kimberly's Simply Southern, on GAC and also co-wrote a cookbook, Oh Gussie! Cooking and Visiting in Kimberly's Southern Kitchen, with James Beard Award-winning author Martha Foose last year.
