FOOD NEWS:
Signature biscuits and breakfast bowls are on the menu at Brentwood's new Holler & Dash Biscuit House, Cracker Barrel's foray into fast-casual dining.
Meanwhile, in Germantown, chef and restaurateur Daniel Lindley has been busy readying The Back Corner, a new bar and music venue inspired by the spirit of Music City. (It's conveniently tucked behind 5th & Taylor, too.)
Three local wine clubs have recently popped up, offering curated selections and a world of fun varietals and blends to explore. Salt & Vine's three tiered program offers selections for newbies and Cellar Masters. Wine expert and consultant Robin Riddell Jones partnered with Woodland Wine Merchants to launch The Spill by Tavola. The city's only urban winery and music venue, City Winery, has added an upgrade to its membership offerings: VinoFile Reserve is perfect for wine lovers.
After shuttering its East Nashville outpost, Little Octopus has officially opened in the Gulch. In addition to daily dinner offerings, the Caribbean-inspired restaurant serves brunch on Sundays.
Did you know Barcelona serves Sunday brunch, too? The menu features classic brunch options with a Spanish twist (think Churros and Chicken or the Georgia shrimp biscuit) and a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar.
If you prefer sweet over savory, two local candy companies have you covered: Goo Goo Cluster just released its new Red Velvet Premium Goo Goo, and Christie Cookie Co.'s cookie of the month, Nashville Hot, really packs a punch.
Green Hills Grille recently debuted a new happy hour. Swing by daily from 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. for $3 beer, $5 cocktails, and $6 bites, or pick up a half-price bottle of wine all day, any day!
