For a finger-lickin' good time this month, make your way to the Music City Hot Wing Festival taking place on Downtown Nashville's Lower Broadway, August 14 and 15. This year's fest promises a stellar music lineup, various craft breweries, and local vendors offering a variety of goods and services. And, perhaps most importantly, there will be dozens of teams cooking up the best hot wings in the South and competing to become the coveted wing champion.
A portion of the proceeds from the event goes to The Bootstraps Foundation, which helps support higher educational needs of students who have overcome adversity.
'We wanted to create an event celebrating the city of Nashville and all it has to offer,” says MCHWF organizer John Kim. 'Watching people enjoy themselves, as well as being able to give back to the community, is truly rewarding.”
