By far the most dramatic do-over in 12S has been the newly-opened Urban Grub on the east side of 12th Avenue, where a shabby self-service car wash stubbornly stood its ground for more than 25 years on a lot elevated about three feet off the street as if proud of its status as neighborhood eyesore.

One hundred birthdays bring plenty of excuses to celebrate—especially if you're a nutty, chocolate-y Nashville-made treat. October marks Goo Goo Cluster's official centennial and more than 40 local restaurants, food trucks, and bakeries are paying tribute with Cluster-inspired desserts.
The latest news is that some of the restaurants are going to keep the Goo Goo desserts on the menu indefinitely!
