Burger and Fries from Burger Up — $10-14

Menu items are not all about the calories—it’s about the quality of food and a good balance of healthy fats, protein, fiber, and carbohydrates. The good people at Burger Up offer a gluten free bun for any of their burgers and with a side of sweet potato fries, which contain no gluten at all, it’s a perfect combo.

"Eating gluten free is not as difficult as it's made out to be, and it's always a pleasure to share my favorite dishes in Nashville! I have personally checked with the waitstaff at these spots, but I recommend wherever you dine to always check with the kitchen about their methods. Even though the ingredients may be gluten free, often times the work spaces, cooking oils and utensils may have cross contamination with gluten—this is especially important if you have celiac disease or severe reactions to those proteins."
