Sack & Lavender
2 oz. Chateau de Laubade VSOP Armagnac
½ oz. Benedictine
¼ oz. sherry
2 dashes angostura bitters
Half a bar spoon or 6-8 drops of lavender tincture (see below)
Orange zest
Pour all ingredients in mixing glass and stir for 15 seconds. Pour over one large ice cube in a double Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with orange zest and serve.Lavender Tincture:½ lb loose dried lavender
1 ½ cups vodka or other neutral grain spirit
