Plans were unveiled last night at the home of Cathy and Clay Jackson for the 51st Annual Swan Ball benefitting Nashville treasure, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. Co-Chairmen Amy Colton and Julie Walker announced some of the evening's distinguished guests including 2013 Swan Award recipient, nationally acclaimed decorator and philanthropist Mario Buatta, official jeweler of the 2013 Swan Ball John de Jong, and this year's entertainers, Grammy Award-winning group Kool & The Gang. Guests and committee members enjoyed refreshments provided by Nashville caterer Danielle Kates, who will also be creating the menu for the big night.

Anita Hogan and Hugh Howser of H Three Events shared their vision for this year's theme, which was inspired by the natural beauty of the botanical gardens. Serene colors of oregano, marmalade and poppy highlighted by a breathtaking canopy of crystal hummingbirds. Backed by a top-notch committee and design team, The Swan Ball 2013 will be a night to remember. ( June 8, 2013 on the Swan Lawn at Cheekwood)
