Guests gathered on the East Lawn at Carnton Plantation for the first Sunset Concert of the summer series. The family-friendly outdoor musical event began at 6 p.m. and featured local favorite band, Zippy's Clutch. The lawn was filled with friends and family enjoying music, food and beverages as the band played favorite rock-n-roll hits.
The Sunset Concert Series is a summer tradition providing monthly outdoor concerts at Carnton Planation, which is managed by the Battle of Franklin Trust. This year kicked off with a rock-n-roll evening and upcoming concerts will feature a variety of musical styles. Concert-goers are invited to bring food and drinks, including alcohol for a picnic during the show.
