Guests gathered to celebrate Williamson County's unique history of bootlegging at the seventh annual Bootlegger's Bash, hosted by the Battle of Franklin Trust. It was a perfect evening at Carnton as attendees sipped whiskey in the garden from a variety of local distillers, including H Clark Distillery, Tenn South Distillery, Prichard's Distillery, Corsair Artisans, Leiper's Fork Distillery and Rabbit Hole Distillery.
Chad Street Band played lively music while guests mingled before sitting down to a Southern supper by Chef Penelope. The menu included fresh mixed greens salad tossed with seasonal berries, Nashville hot chicken, pork loin and Tennessee bourbon MoonPie bread pudding for dessert. All proceeds from the event benefit the Battle of Franklin Trust and preservation efforts of Carter House and Carnton.
