Jonathan Leshnoff – Symphony No. 4 “Heichalot”

Nashville Symphony Commission | World Premiere | Live Recording
Barber – Adagio for Strings

Be there as your Nashville Symphony presents this very special performance March 22-24, 2018 featuring the Violins of Hope, a collection of instruments played by Jews during the Holocaust. Concertmaster Jun Iwasaki will solo on John Williams’ beautiful score from Schindler’s List, and the orchestra will perform and record the world premiere of Jonathan Leshnoff’s Symphony No. 4, a powerful new work written especially for this concert. Jonathan Biss returns to perform Schumann’s exuberant Piano Concerto, and the evening will close with Barber's profoundly moving Adagio for Strings.

Come early to the concert for our Classical Conversations with Maestro Giancarlo Guerrero, taking place one hour before the concert in the Balcony Lobby. Following the concert, Maestro Guerrero will lead an informal Q&A at the back of the concert hall, on the Orchestra Level.

Tickets: $29-145
