Songwriter Session: Darryl Worley

Darryl Worley wrote his hits “A Good Day to Run,” “Awful, Beautiful Life,” “Have You Forgotten,” “Sounds Like Life to Me,” and “When You Need My Love.” He also hit the Top Ten as an artist with “I Miss My Friend” and “If Something Should Happen.” Worley wrote his latest single, “Rainmaker,” to benefit Fiji cyclone relief efforts after surviving a storm himself. His songs have also been recorded by George Jones and Charley Pride. ​

Songwriters perform in an intimate setting and invite questions from the audience. Performances are every Saturday at 11:30 a.m., and are held in the museum's Ford Theater. Included with museum admission. Free to museum members.
