Event Description

The CHARM Foundation has announced plans to hold their annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 4 at the Martha O’Bryan Center in East Nashville. Each year, the CHARM (Children Are Magical) Back to School program ensures that every child is prepared for success in the classroom by providing free school supplies. These resources that will help children start the school year off right include free backpacks, hygiene kits, health kids, school supplies, dental exams, haircuts, and more.

The CHARM Foundation is headed up by Jaclyn Stapp; life-long philanthropist, award-winning children's author, and support system to husband Scott Stapp, Grammy-award winning composer and lead singer of Creed. Growing up in a humble beginning, Jaclyn started CHARM at just 17 years old as a way to pay it forward.

CHARM is built upon the simple notion that every child deserves an equal opportunity to succeed and prepare for the future. More than 16 million kids live in extreme poverty in the U.S. and arrive on the first day of school without the supplies they need to learn. The organization partners with select organizations, churches, and corporations to deliver these needed supplies and resources at the annual drive. This year’s sponsors include Nashville Metro Police and the Tennessee Titans.
