James Beard Foundation x The Catbird Seat
Ryan Poli, chef of Strategic Hospitality’s The Catbird Seat, and his brother Matthew Poli, beverage director, are partnering with acclaimed James Beard Foundation (JBF) in hosting the Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner in Nashville. The Celebrity Chef Tour makes its way to Nashville for its first time with Poli as host and a slew of critically acclaimed chefs, both national and local, at his side. The chefs involved include a wide range of talent, from Andrew Brochu of Roister in Chicago, Julia Sullivan of Henrietta Red in Nashville, to Jeff Michaud of Osteria in Philadelphia.
“Meals are all about bringing people together and celebrating great flavors, perfect pairings and this crazy ride we call life. We are thrilled to join forces with JBF to bring together some amazing chefs in Nashville, cook some fantastic dishes, and just have an awesome time,” Poli says.
The dinner, truly an once-in-a-lifetime experience, is set on the field of the Nashville Sounds’ First Tennessee Park. Guests will be given the opportunity to enjoy welcome provisions in the batting cages, dine at a table set through the first baseline of the baseball field, and end the evening at Strategic Hospitality’s in-stadium bar, The Band Box.
The Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner will take place at 6:30 p.m. on October 21. Tickets are available through The James Beard Foundation for $200. For the list of participating chefs, more information on the dinner and to purchase tickets, please visit jamesbeard.org.
