Nick Cave: Feat. — Friday, November 10-June 24, 2018. 10 a.m. $12
Get a closer look at artist Nick Cave’s elaborate “soundsuits,” during the opening weekend of his latest exhibit at Nashville’s Frist Center. Cave’s work is a dynamic amalgamation of sculpture, dance, and fashion using found and commonplace materials to speak to issues of racial and social justice. Author Elizabeth Gilbert — Saturday, November 11. 10-11 a.m. Free
Eat, Pray, Love author and recipient of the 2017 Literary Award, Elizabeth Gilbert, is the guest of honor for this month’s Salon 615 public lecture. Gilbert will be chatting with fellow-author Ann Patchett in Montgomery Bell Academy’s Paschall Theatre. This first-time fest showcases exclusively Tennessee-based wineries at the Nashville Farmer's Market.
