Favorite local fashion related item/event you have seen or been to recently? I recently found some great Vince wedges at Emerson Grace that I love. They have an embossed snake skin strap that plays against a black strap around the ankle.
Fashion pet peeve? Being too afraid to wear white after Labor Day. You can wear white all year round in my book!

What fashion designer would you choose to create your dream outfit? I would take an Alexander McQueen evening gown any day. His style can be super edgy but his gowns are so sleek and gorgeous.

Andra Eggleston recently started up a line of beautiful textiles, Electra Eggleston, that take her father’s drawings and explode them onto beautiful textiles. She and local tie maker Otis James collaborated on a few bow ties. Once I finally learn how to tie one properly, I might just have to get one.
What is the best “fashion find x93 you’ve ever unearthed in Nashville, and where did you find it? A vintage Lee 91-B denim work jacket. It’s beautifully beaten up and worn out, it fits just right and still holds up all these years later. These chore coats usually show up in more curated vintage shops, but I found it at Southern Thrift on Charlotte a few years back.

Well, Everything. His turnaround is reasonable. His work is remarkable. And yeah, it’s expensive (but you get what you pay for). Best find ever.
What fashion designer would you choose to create your dream outfit? Michael Bastian. His classic American style is on point. It’s the right mix of whimsy, fit, vintage, and modern.
