On Tuesday, March 27, Nashville Lifestyles co-hosted Nashville Fashion Week’s inaugural Men’s Style Event—the first entirely men’s fashion-focused event ever hosted by the organization.
Along with Tim Ozgener, CEO of OZ Arts Nashville, NL publisher Brian Barry welcomed guests to 505 Nashville’s stunning sixth floor and pool deck, complete with picturesque downtown views. Here, the two talked about Nashville’s evolving fashion landscape and the importance of Nashville Fashion Week’s meaningful collaborations.
“Fashion in Nashville is growing, and I love how it combines the old and the new,” Barry said. “Stores likes Levy’s, which is more than 160 years old, are just as ‘well-suited’ to handle Nashville’s menswear needs as newcomers like Oak Hall. There are also so many great fashion industry professionals in this city that we work with at Nashville Lifestyles, and I am fortunate to be able to work with great talents every issue.”
Tim Ozgener shared his excitement for this year’s partnership between Nashville Fashion Week and OZ Arts Nashville.
“I’m so glad to be part of this year's Nashville Fashion Week,” Ozgener added. “I have always loved the creative, artistic, and fun aspects of fashion. This event combines all three for an unforgettable experience.”
Oak Hall Nashville presented Italian brand Eleventy, known for conveying comfort as the new luxury in menswear, modeled by AMAX Talent. Bespoke shoemaker Edward’s Shoes was also on site, offering the latest in men’s footwear—and finishing a pair live!
Guests enjoyed sushi and light bites from Virago, sipped on craft cocktails from Bar Alliance Nashville, and shared tastings of Pennington Distilling Co.’s new Davidson Reserve 4-Grain Tennessee Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
