This year marks the 10th anniversary of Nashville’s Nutcracker—the Nashville Ballet’s translation of the traditional Tchaikovsky score and Dumas storyline. Whether it's an annual tradition or your first time, here are five new elements of the show you don’t want to miss!

It’ll snow in the audience for the first time during the Snow Scene!

    The Dancing Bear Cavalry is a brand new youth cast role debuting this year—super adorable, just wait.

    The mysterious Drosselmeyer will show off a few magic tricks during the Party Scene that Nashville’s Nutcracker audiences have never seen before.

    Classic role, new dancer: Making their debut appearances are the performers in the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen.

  • Five
    You’ll get to see the difficulty of the Bon Bon youth cast choreography thanks to new streamlined costumes.
