Though it is likely the most expensive neighborhood of the bunch (per square foot), it does provide a priceless lifestyle. Family is the heart of the community here but there is plenty of culture for everyone, from art and music to a parade of seasonal street festivals. Franklin's public schools rank as high as most private institutions, which drives real estate prices up regularly (despite what's going on with the economy). But, when you can walk to great bakeries, antique shops, and casual restaurants, it can be worth every penny.
