LaunchTN, a public-private economic development partnership, is capitalizing on Nashville's entrepreneurial culture with a three-day conference from June 8-10, 2015. Formerly called Southland, 36|86 is named after the city's geographic coordinates and will gather innovators and investors from around the country at Marathon Music Works for speaker sessions during the day and live entertainment at night.
'This year we really wanted to go out into the Southeastern market and be face-to-face and really dig into recruiting the best startups in the Southeast,” says LaunchTN director of communications Courtney Corlew. 'We want to help propel them, help them succeed, and tell their stories.”
36|86 will feature a slew of speakers, including Eventbrite cofounders Julia and Kevin Hartz, FLO Thinkery cofounder Mark Montgomery, and KO Insights CEO Kate O'Neill. The conference will also feature an evening concert with Marc Broussard and Langhorne Slim on Tuesday, June 9. Tickets for the three-day experience are $150 a person.
