The Best of Nashville with Kimberly Schlapman
When she’s not touring with Little Big Town, Schlapman prefers to be in her own home (and kitchen) in Nashville. But she does have some go-to spots around town, which she good-naturedly reveals in our rapid-fire Q&A. (Nov 2014)

Best Brunch: Loveless Café. But these days there are so many options, oh my goodness!
Best Quick Lunch: Edley’s BBQ [in 12 South] or Peg Leg Porker.
Best Date Night Dinner: Husk—they pay so much attention to detail. The dishes are all handmade pottery. My daddy makes pottery, so I have such a huge appreciation for that. I love, love, love that place.
Best Place to Shop : White’s Mercantile.
Best Place to Get Pampered : Escape Day Spa and Salon.
Best Kid-Friendly Activity : Sadly, [my seven-year-old daughter, Daisy] has taken up my affinity for shopping. We cook a whole lot together. We love to go rock climbing at [The Crag] in Cool Springs. And she takes karate…but she also takes dance. She’s a well-rounded kid.
Best Day Drink : Sweet tea with lemon and a sprig of mint. I know, I know, I’m safe.
Best Place for a Cocktail : Rolf and Daughters. […] But I’m the lightweight of the band, for certain.
