Prepare for a rip-roaring, exclusive, one-time event at one of Nashville's oldest venues tucked away in untouched Tennessee woods at Hachland Hill on August 18. The
We wouldn’t call Silver Steer and Company a country store, but it certainly has the rustic, vintage feel of one. The well-priced home décor and gift store opened in Cool Springs in May with a goal of bringing a much needed gift depot to the area, especially one with a broad selection for guys. Owner Aimee Dodd opened the boutique after owning a gift and invitations shop in California.
“I tried to find things that were either made in Tennessee or had that southern feel for some of my products,” says Dodd.
With a selection of gifts that would work for anyone from babies to granddads, like license plates wine and beer coozies, plush kids toys, and candles made in Brentwood, this is a one-stop-shop that will keep up a constantly changing selection. With a focus on quality and a pursuit of homegrown southern products, Dodd says she’ll update the store’s Facebook page with new additions but welcomes visitors to come by and explore. “I’m very selective with my products,” says Dodd. “My whole goal is to give you that original experience.”
