On June 22 the National Association of Women Judges held an event at Nashville School of Law to honor women judges. Nashville School of Law student Brandy L. Spurgin was presented the National Association of Women Judges Equal Access to Justice scholarship by Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Sharon Lee on June 22. Spurgin, who will begin her fourth year of studies in August, is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she received a B.S. degree in Legal Assistant Studies. She is currently employed by attorney Michael M. Raulston of Chattanooga.
