PortaVia Italian Kitchen opened it's doors on December 9th to a large crowd of hungry Nashvillians. The authentic Italian eatery at 21 White Bridge Road boasts the only certified Neapolitan Pizza in all of Tennessee equipped with the Italian flour and proper oven for the perfect pizza. Other fantastic fare included Northern Italian pasta dishes, and other dishes from Milan and the Mediterranean. Owners Mehrdad Alviri and Martin Silverman were delighted at the turnout and response to their food, drink and authentic Italian gelato for dessert. Executive chef, Giovanni from Mario's fame cooked pastas and other dishes the entire evening for the many guests who couldn't get enough of this fantastic food. Pizza chef Riccardo Bacilieri kept his staff busy baking the perfect pizzas to warm the guests on this rainy evening. This eatery is not to be missed!
